Design Issues With Products
This page is reserved for posting those frustrating designs we deal with on a daily basis!

All hard plastic "clamshell" packaging requiring you to cut and pry it open, usually resulting in gashes and blood. (I finally purchased one of those "As Seen On TV" package cutting devices and it does work - but this is still a case of terrible, unsafe design!) WDTS
alarm buttonAlarm clocks that: can't be heard, can't find or grasp the on/off button, can read the time without glasses. The photo shows the tiny ridge on the on/off button of one of my many alarm clocks. It takes a finger nail to find and get the button to slide on or off. The tiny "ridge" on the button is useless in enabling you to move it. What if you don't have longer fingernails?!! WDTS
Those "pull off the seal" tabs on food and household products that are so small and slippery -- you have to resort to a pair of pliers to grab and pull off the tight seal!  WDTS
